Ladies, how many times a day to you find yourself apologizing? Every time I hear the words “I’m sorry” come out of my mouth, I always stop and ask myself what exactly it is that I’m apologizing for. I mean yes, I do find myself in situations where it is necessary, like when I bump into a stranger on the street or I’m late for an appointment, but what about the times where I’m apologizing for just being me?
Women often find themselves, usually without a second thought, apologizing for expressing an emotion, for having an opinion, for setting boundaries, for being too sexy, for not being sexy enough. We feel the need to explain away and apologize for what we like and what we don’t like. We apologize for turning someone down when they hit on us. We are constantly taking ownership of the misbehaviors of others apologizing for it. Our very existence in the world at times feels like it needs to be explained and apologized for. This is something we need to address.
Join me for a coaching workshop designed to pinpoint the where, when and why of our apologetic nature. In this two hour workshop, you will participate in a conversation with like minded women looking to gain clarity, restore confidence and illuminate their inner glow. You will be presented with powerful and thought provoking questions designed to help you not only own your energy and stop apologizing for your shine, but encourage the women around you to do so as well.
